We present free events throughout the year giving audiences the chance to enjoy live music, performance, arts, exhibitions, stories and workshops that celebrate humanity, the environment and positive social action.

Our annual UNITY Festival is an opportunity for people to come together and explore music, arts, exhibitions, movement, workshops as we celebrate our themes of humanity, the environemnt and social action.

UNITY Festival first took place online in 2021. Over one weekend 26 free events took place which were enjoyed by 1000+ people across 23 countries. In March 2022 UNITY Festival returned with a weekend of free live music, performance, arts, exhibitions, stories and workshops set across three locations - St Silas’ Church in Byker, Seven Stories The National Centre for Children’s Books, and Brinkburn Street Brewery Bar & Kitchen.

In 2023, UNITY Festival took place on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March at Preston Park Museum & Grounds in Stockton-on-Tees and on Saturday 25 March at Ouseburn Community Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. Festival-goers of all ages and backgrounds were invited to take part in a jam-packed programme of events. Find out more here.

UNITY Festival 2024 took place at Great North Museum: Hancock in Newcastle Upon Tyne 18, 19 and 20 October and Kirkleatham Museum in Redcar 26 and 27 October. Audiences joined us for a FREE festival of music and arts celebrating community, nature and social action.
